/admin command

The “/admin” command is a command that can be used with the @web3_domain_bot in Telegram to retrieve a list of the administrators for a channel or group. When used, the @web3_domain_bot will check the blockchain records for the Web3 Domain associated with the channel or group (as specified in the channel or group’s description) and retrieve a list of the administrators for that domain. This list will include the usernames of the administrators, as well as any other information that has been entered into the domain’s records.

When the “/admin” command is used in a channel or group, the @web3_domain_bot will check the description field of the channel or group for a Web3 Domain Name that is prefixed with “w3d:”. It will then retrieve the Web3 Domain associated with that name from the blockchain and retrieve a list of the administrators or moderators for that domain.

To use the “/admin” command, simply type “/admin” in the chat of a channel or group where the @web3_domain_bot has been added. The @web3_domain_bot will then retrieve the list of administrators for the channel or group’s associated Web3 Domain and display it in the chat.

The “/admin” command can be useful for verifying the authenticity of a channel or group and ensuring that it is not a spam account. It can also be used to retrieve a list of the administrators for a Web3 Domain that is associated with a channel or group.

Many channel owners will add a list of the admins or moderators of their channel to the Web3 Domain’s blockchain records, so that users can easily verify the authenticity of the channel and ensure that it is not a spam account. When someone uses the “/admin” command, the @web3_domain_bot will retrieve this list of admins or moderators from the blockchain and display it in the chat.

This allows users to check whether a Telegram user who claims to be an administrator or moderator of a channel is actually listed in the channel’s Web3 Domain’s records as an admin or moderator. This can help to prevent scams and ensure that users are communicating with genuine admins or moderators.
